Enjoy the fresh air beneath the Mogollon Rim, join the festivities, Pine is having its 2nd annual Awakening Earth Expo, August 7 & 8, 10 am to 4 pm. Featuring fun, learning and experiencing for all ages.
Planned activities include Qigong, yoga and Zumba demos; story telling; live acoustic music (didgeridoo, flute, reggae, celtic, and more); a children’s reading circle; informational booths about sustainable living and healing modalities, homemade healthy foods, herbs, and more.
Art from recycled or natural materials will be offered for sale, including crystals and natural soaps and lotions.
On each day The Dreamtime Dancers, a 14-member troupe from Pine-Payson, will perform their environmental play, “Awakening Earth,” at the air-conditioned Cultural Hall. It’s a one-hour production filled with song, dance and ecological commentary.
This is our future, and it's happening at the Community Center and Cultural Hall, 3886 N. Hwy 87, across from the post office in Pine, Arizona. Admission is free.
