SHOP HOP 2010 - Second Saturdays through December
Combining fest with education, this expo is filled with fun, learning and experiencing.
Some scheduled events are:
Eco Dance Play: At 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, a 14-member troupe from Pine-Payson will perform their environmental play, “Awakening Earth,” in the air-conditioned Cultural Hall. It’s a one-hour production filled with song, dance and ecological commentary, showcasing the plight of the earth today, but also offering hope and inspiration that we may awake to that plight and cherish our earth once again.
Storytelling: Saturday afternoon we have storyteller & guitarist & historian, Jinx Pyle for the whole family.
Reading circle for children: Also scheduled is a reading circle for the children, music, demonstrations, education, products and much more.
Each restaurant in town will be offering a special healthy food menu item just for the expo.
The shops in town have donated items or services to raffle.
Everyone is pitching in to make this a great celebration for our Earth.
